Washington DC Headshot Photographer || At The Table || Lifestyle Headshots at The Line Hotel
At the Table is a digital food series that I have worked on for the past several months. In Philly, prior to my move, I shot food and beverage work for clients and was on boarded to handle this section of the project (the above is one of mine) as well as some of the behind the scenes work for the series. After months of filming and editing, I’m excited to share that the series is about to be released on February 10th.
I wanted to show a few of the official headshots from the series. I’m only showcasing some of the women from the series (obviously), but you can see more on At The Table’s website when we go live.
Fun background on how I got to be part of this project… Right before I moved to DC this past summer, I had a few months to figure out who I knew in the district. The total number of people topped 3. What’s great about DC is that everyone ebbs and flows. People come in and people leave, so, generally people are pretty friendly here, at least to get a cup of coffee. Liz, one of these contacts and old client of mine, took being nice above and beyond and was the one that made the introduction to this project. So thanks LIz.
The funny part of life is your path always is changing. I came on to this project to photograph food, but I ended up using the series as a way to further my portrait work. I’ll post soon a few images from a series I took with the ATT crew when we went to Early Mountain. The images really pushed me further with my knowledge base and I’m proud of the creative work that came from it. Also, in a weird turn of events, we interviewed Carlie from Hitmitsu, a few weeks prior to me unknowing traveling with her to/in Bolivia (where I was shooting for a wine importer - more on that in a future post). DC is a small place sometimes.
